The band went through many changes, but I feel the best line
up was the one below which is my opinion only.
The Almost Blues (1964 - 1970) Played the Cavern, Liverpool supporting Stevie Wonder, Wilson Picket, Ben E King, Rufus Thomas, Lee Dorsey, Solomon Burke, The Drifters, Doris Troy, John Lee Hooker and Sonny Boy Williamson. Played Liverpool University supporting The Who and Spencer Davis.

Alan went on to form Lawnmower and still is a member to this day, one of his former members was Manchester singer Mick Hucknall later Simply red.
