§         The Coasters have a rightful place in Merseysound history, but when Brian Epstein signed Billy Kramer the Coasters didn't want to turn professional, so Brian matched Billy with Manchester band The Dakotas and young Graham Jennings came in to replace him,  .John Lennon suggested the J in the middle Billy's name dedicated to Johns son Julian.  The first line up were called Billy Forde and the Phantoms and Billy was rhythm guitarist, but when the singer left Billy was pushed out front.
